Accessibility Statement
Saptabandhu Infotech is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone.
1. Our Commitment
Saptabandhu Infotech (“we”, “us”, “our”) is dedicated to making our website saptabandhuinfotech.com accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to available standards and guidelines.
This statement was prepared on 30 May 2026 and will be reviewed annually or following any major update to the website.
2. Standards Applied
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Our implementation covers the four WCAG principles:
- Perceivable — Content is presented in ways users can perceive, including text alternatives for non-text content.
- Operable — All functionality is available via keyboard; no content causes seizures or physical reactions.
- Understandable — Text is readable and predictable; input assistance is provided for forms.
- Robust — Content is interpreted reliably by current and future assistive technologies.
3. Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the standard. Known areas of non-conformance and the steps we are taking are listed below.
| Area | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Skip navigation link | Pass | Present on all pages, keyboard accessible. |
| Keyboard navigation | Pass | All interactive elements reachable by Tab / Enter / Space / Escape. |
| Colour contrast — body text | Pass | 4.5:1 ratio met in both light and dark modes. |
| Colour contrast — muted text | In progress | Some muted labels are being reviewed against AA thresholds. |
| Focus indicators | Pass | Visible :focus-visible ring on all interactive elements. |
| Alt text for images | Pass | All content images carry descriptive alt attributes. |
| Semantic HTML & headings | Pass | Single H1 per page; heading hierarchy maintained. |
| Form labels | Pass | Every input has an associated <label> element. |
| Reduced motion | Pass | Animations disabled when prefers-reduced-motion is set. |
| ARIA roles & landmarks | In progress | Some decorative elements are being audited for correct ARIA usage. |
| Touch targets | Pass | All buttons and links meet the 44 × 44 px minimum. |
| PDF / downloadable documents | In progress | Tagged PDFs being prepared for document downloads. |
4. Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website has been designed and tested to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- NVDA screen reader (Windows) with Google Chrome
- VoiceOver screen reader (macOS & iOS) with Safari
- TalkBack (Android) with Google Chrome
- High-contrast mode on Windows and macOS
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Keyboard-only navigation (no mouse required)
If you experience difficulties with a specific assistive technology not listed here, please contact us so we can investigate and address the issue.
5. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to resolve them:
- Third-party embedded content — Some widgets or maps provided by third-party services may not meet full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. We are monitoring and will replace or supplement these as accessible alternatives become available.
- Muted text contrast — Certain secondary text elements (labels, metadata) are being reviewed to confirm they meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio at all viewport sizes.
- Complex data tables — Tabular data presented in some sections is being updated with proper
scopeandcaptionattributes for screen reader compatibility.
6. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us using any of the following methods:
- Email: info@saptabandhuinfotech.com
- Contact form: saptabandhuinfotech.com/contact

7. Enforcement and Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you may raise the matter with the relevant authority in your jurisdiction. In India, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment oversees the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, which includes provisions related to accessible ICT.
8. Technical Approach
The following technical practices are applied across this website to support accessibility:
- Semantic HTML5 elements (
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>,<section>,<article>) used throughout. - ARIA landmark roles and labels applied where native semantics are insufficient.
- Fluid typography using CSS
clamp()with a minimum floor of 12px and body text at 16px. - Light and dark mode support with a user-controlled toggle, defaulting to system preference.
- CSS
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query disables animations site-wide for users who have requested reduced motion. - All interactive elements have minimum 44 × 44 px touch targets.
- Colour contrast validated using OKLCH colour space calculations against WCAG AA thresholds.
- Form inputs include associated labels, error messages with
aria-describedby, and required field indicators.
9. Review Schedule
This accessibility statement is reviewed annually and updated whenever significant changes are made to the website. The next scheduled review is May 2027.
Accessibility audits are conducted internally as part of our development and QA process, with external review planned for major releases.
